Just put it on a couple of days ago Laura, looks great on the website!
When I was at SPCA on Saturday I was giving my charge for the afternoon a big cuddle (as he was just gorgeous!),upon looking up who was standing in front of me - but Eddie's original owner. (The guy who homed him from SPCA) I could not believe it! He had been at Dog's Trust as well for a look round and thought he'd have a nosey at Bothwell. I told him that Eddie was in foster care and doing well. I can only hope that if he decides to get another dog to add to his two that GAL don't end up having to pick up the pieces again.
Just had a peek at Eddie's profile page. He IS microchipped (although the address will need changed as it's still registered as his previous home).
Eddie is an incredibly affectionate dog, it'll be so hard saying goodbye to him. Somewhere out there, I know there is the perfect home and the perfect family for him though.
Just watched the video - it's fantastic! However, I'm more impressed with your training! I think I despair of ever getting Indiana to 'leave it', let alone give a paw... I haven't tried with Tigerlily yet. But I am hopeful. Well-done!
As some of you will have read, Eddie will be leaving me very soon to go and live with Chas and greyflintstone and the gorgeous Wilma.
The timing seems perfect. He has come on so much in the past couple of months and every week seems to see a little more progress. He seems to know he's leaving because he's suddenly taken to sleeping in the living room on his own all night. This seems amazing when I think back to how distressing his separation anxiety could be when he first came, and because it's only been a few weeks since I started working on the "Go to bed" command.
I'm so excited for him. He's been hard work at times, but it's been worth every second and he so deserves a forever home. Fingers crossed he settles in to his new home quickly.

This is such good news for us!!!!!! We are counting down the days until Saturday!! Thank you for everything you've done for Eddie over the last 7-8 months, and thank you for putting up with our constant questions! (and answering them so honestly!!)

I know Eddie from his time at Bothwell Bridge and had him out a couple of time to try and home him. He is a handsome boy indeed and I wish you all lots of luck and happiness.
Let's hope that he has found his forever home this time!
