Dan has settled right in. He is such a good and quiet loving wee boy its unbeleivable. He just ignores smokey (our cat) but i think they wil be cuddling up at some point in the future.
We took him on a long walk last night and he was great. No whining, no whimpering during the night either, although he does do exceptionally smelly farts in his sleep!!
I think he's excited about car trips, so we will take him out in the car soon to a nice open field. We are also going to bring him to Edinburgh soon. Thanks to everyone involved for the help, guidance and support. It is very reassuring as a first time Groo parent!!
Welcome aboard Jax and Barrie I am sure you will get as much joy from the gorgeous Dan as we all get from our greys, Dan is a charmer. Hope to meet you at the Edinburgh walk and talk grey talk. I am the proud owner of Cas another GAL grey and Sasha our little whippet. See that you live in Falkirk that is my home town though I live in North Berwick now , all the best and see you soon. Nora

So pleased to hear that Dan has settled in so well and is getting on fine with Smokey. Sure they'll be snuggled up soon. He looks a stunning dog and am sure he'll soon feel like you've had him forever. We've had Tilly since February and it certainly feels like we've had her forever - in a good way that is! Looking forward to meeting Dan at some Edinburgh walks soon.
well done for giving Dan his forever home - he really is a handsome chap.
I'm pleased to hear he's settled in so well with you - these greyhounds certainly worm their way into your hearts so quickly, it'll soon seem like you've had Dan for years. Dave and Daisy have been with us for about a year and a half now and it feels as if we've known them forever.
Welcome to the Forum and I'm delighted you are the proud new owners of Dan. He's a beautiful boy. It's great he's settled down so quickly with you. Hope to meet you and Dan at one of GAL's events in the summer!
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on giving Dan his forever home. He looks like a gorgeous boy and you will soon wonder what life was like before he came to stay!! Here's to many happy and fun times in the future.

So glad to see that Dan has found a new home - I hope he has a long and happy life with you.
I fell in love with him as soon as I saw his photo..... and then when I read on and saw that he was dog and cat friendly that was even better!! Just as well he's found a home with you - I was half tempted to have a trip to bonnie Scotland! I have (like such alot of you) a soft spot for the mature hound!! But then, I love 'em all !
