Hello Folks! It's nearing the end of the month again so here is a little reminder that the Holyrood Walk is just around the corner - Our regular monthly EDINBURGH dog walk will take place on Sunday 28th May at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh.
There's no fixed plans for the event, just lots of hounds walking round the park.
WHERE: Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, meet in the St Margarets Loch Car Park (thats the Meadowbank end of the park!)
WHEN: Sunday 28th May @ 12 noon.
Your 'hosts' for the Walk will be myself (Siouxsie Parry GAL's follow up co-ordinator) and Carole Robinson, we'll be present in the car park between 12 - 2 to greet everyone.
Hope everyone has a great time!
If you need further info on our Edinburgh Walks please email me - siouxsie@gal.org.uk
I have been making cards and selling them to raise funds for GAL (made about £80 so far). I shall be bringing a selection to Holyrood on Sunday - they are £4 for a packet of 6 which is tremendous value when you see what shops charge.
So bring your purses and wallets along and buy some.
Thank you to all that attended today's walk. Great to see folk returning again and also to the newbies too. It was lovely to see Blackie & Holly today, so well settled. And i am sure all who were about today noticed wee Daisy - the little lurcher that is looking for a new home, I am sure she won a few hearts today, i will post a photo of her later here.
Here is a photo of some of the walkers
As usual all were extremely well behaved (including us humans!) and the weather was great for us too.
These pics are brilliant!! Glad to say now i have a new job i will be able to attend the Edinburgh walks now, so see you there at the next one! Siouxsie - i'll try turn up on time to make the walk LOL

The photos are great! We are so sorry we missed it, got tied up and couldn't get through to Edinburgh. Looks like it was a good day though. Fingers crossed we can mke it next month.
Thanks for a very enjoyable walk today it was great to meet up with everyone and all the newbies that came along. The weather was great and the dogs were so well behaved as ever. Daisy is a little sweetie and I am sure she will find her forever home very soon. Thanks again. Nora

Brilliant photos of a great day out! All the photos are wonderful but the individual shots really capture how much the dogs are enjoying themselves being out and about with their pals!
Is it the one with the I need a home coat on? Thats Daisy she was adorable. Funnily enough Fiona I did think if you saw her you would fall in love with her. She is only 9 months old.

Thanks for a lovely walk. Janie had a nice time and apart from her usual barking whenever she thought we were standing too long, she was a perfect role model for wee Daisy who we had the pleasure of taking round the walk.
Yes Fiona she is a little poppet who you would fall head over heels in love with
Great photos Paul. I love the last one of Janie and Ruby lying on the grass it kind of sums up the laid back feeling of the walk.
I did take photos on the day and have spent all week scrating my head wondering whats wrong with my camera as they were all really blurred just noticed that I had it switched to close up
