Maverick ,Cory, Jo and I just had our first camping trip together at the weekend. We all went up to Luss to a beautiful site on the shores of Loch Lomond, but I just wanted to warn you all the rabbit to hound ratio is about 10,000-1. Maverick somehow managed to get loose and it was as if all his Christmas'es had come at once, it was only through the sheer number of them (he didn't know which to chase first) and his superb recall ,we prevented getting kicked off the site. Meanwhile Cory managed to bite through half a dozen guy ropes nearly bringing the tent down.
It wasna us
Had them both in the Loch swimming which was superb, both splashing around like a couple o kids.
Cory Knackered after her swim
But if you decide to go take a balaclava for the dog cause the midgies seem to be attracted to there poor ears.
Great photos, they really are a good looking pair.
Cory looks very like my Sunny in the face. I can't believe how similar their face markings are. I still havn't worked out how to post photos yet and you can't really see from my avatar picture but I keep comparing their faces and it is spookie how similar they are.
Sounds like you had a great time.

Looks like they had a great time! They certainly are beautiful hounds. How did they like sleeping in a tent though? We'd love to go camping but aren't sure how Dan and Sally would take to it.

Hi Jax,
We were are a bit apprehensive as it was there first time but they loved it. Were quite lucky that we have a reasonable size tent, but it is a bit of a squeeze having two of us and the two of them on a double air bed ,which doesnt fair well against sharp claws (take a good puncture repair outfit with you) . We have a large cage that I would recommend for when your cooking, keeps inquisitive noses away from low gas. Its superb and an excellent way to show others how well behaved greys are.
The photos are wonderful! What a great time you all had. Hope Cory and Maverick weren't bitten by the midgies though - they cam be pretty fearsome by Loch Lomond!
