Sorry to hear about Freddy. Must be so so worrying, especially not knowing what it is. Good luck for the vet school. Will look out for more news on how he gets on.
Just caught up with this thread! How is Freddy? Hope his referral to the Glasgow Vet School doesn't take too long! Give him a big hug from me, Vegas and Dixie!
Hope you do not have to wait to long to get Freddy seen to and get to the root of the problem. Wonder if it,s a case of lock jaw which I believe can be caused by a virus? please do not quote me on that as I am no expert. All the best and keep us up to date please. Nora

Thank you everyone for your concern for Freddy! In himself he is quite well - jumping up when you first open the door, wagging his tail when he sees you, it's just his mouth! And of course, when he's good he can't be rewarded with a biscuit as he's to have nothing hard to eat!
We have a date for the vet school. they had originally suggested Tuesday 18th July, but we are all away on holiday then (as I had told our vet!!), so we've changed it to 1st August. The referral has been made with the soft tissue clinic, rather than orthopaedics. I don't know if that's better news or not!!
Nora, I suggested lockjaw to our vet, and he assured me that he definitely doesn't have that! We shall just have to see what the vet school says!
We'll keep you all updated.
Sharon
