Graham and I promised that for Mum’s birthday that we would have a day out in Fife. The plan was to meet up for a pub lunch and go for a walk. Tara as always will be with us and we though that it would be easy to get a pub that did lunches that also allowed dogs. We regularly go to several in Edinburgh.
So far all the places we have phoned have said no dogs.
So I am looking for help from anyone who knows the area between Kincardine and the Forth Road Bridge (as Mum wants to go to Culross). If there are any dog friendly pubs that serve pub food at lunch time can you let me know.
Hi Dogs Trust have a list at http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/information/dogfriendlyvenues/ There are not many entries for Scotland yet, I think they rely on people sending in recommendations. There is a nice looking place in Dollar (Kings Seat) if that's not too far up.
I would recommend the bar in the Golf Hotel, Crail as they welcome well behaved dogs while their owners are having lunch! It might be a bit too far, though, from what you're saying!
