They look a bit like leg warmers, there was a bit of a fashion for them when I was a kid. So maybe she is setting a new doggie fashion trend.

'Scuse the ignorance, but when do dogs need to have their dew claws removed?

And I think she suited her legwarmers, I would have killed for a pair like that in 1982.......

Hi Jackie, dogs do not need them removed, though Sasha kept cathing hers as they were quite large and causing them to bleed. Some people who use their dogs for hunting remove them to stop the dogs catching them in the undergrowth. Ther is no medical reason other than the dog possibly ripping them.
