I was wondering if any one could help me. Rosie (the grey!) has been turning to her right side and squealing like mad! Its rather worrying as she has done this a few times. We are taking her to the vet tonight to get her micro-chipped so we'll ask the vet, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Could it be cramp?

Probably best to get her checked anyway. Florence and her cramp(s) were a nightmare, tomatoes help tho & massaging said muscle. (They love that too!)

I'll try that! She loves getting groomed, so I imagine she'll be in heaven! If it is cramp a good massage should help. She did have good run this morning....

Thats usually what caused Florence get cramp or a long walk (before we started with the tomatoes), she's no the most robust of doggies. Thats why her nickname is 'skelf'

It's always wise to get it checked out, but i agree it sounds like cramp.

Neo used to do something similar but i took advice from the forum gang and started giving him the tomatoes and it worked a treat, plus he loves them...one happy grey, one less anxious mum.

Hi! all went well at the vet. We got rosie vaccinated and micro chipped (which didnt go down very well with rosie!) The vet says her squealing isnt anything to worry about at the moment but if it happens again, we've to take her back. Fingers crossed

Hope to see you on sunday!!

glad all went well at the vets even tho she didn't like the microchipping but, hey, mummy knows best !!

it's tricky to work out why they squeal when there's nothing obviously wrong. she might well forget to squeal now - sometimes it's an attention thing !

yeh, she does love attention, especially cuddles! we are going on holiday next week, so we thought we better get her chipped now. I hope she will enjoy endless walks around St Davids in wales!

The noise a pained grey makes certainly goes through you doesn't it? I hope she is better and that you and Rosie enjoy your trip to Wales.
