No , Sasha has not been run over by a steam roller, this is what I mean about whippets having swivel hips. Sasha lies down like this often and it seems very comfortable for her. Nora

how odd !   my other dogs (a border collie and a spaniel cross ) often used to lay like that but never the greyhounds.  whippets look like a mini greyhound so i am surprised she can physically splay her legs out like that.  still, if she's comfy

Sherry lies like this too, I just ask her if she is enjoying her yoga session

Does Sasha like to burrow under the duvet with you too?  I've never encountered anything like it, I get woken up by a small nose in my face and a hopeful expression.  Then I lift the duvet for her and go back to sleep.  I normally get woken by a kick in the boobs or the bum as she tries to make more room for herself.  I'm just glad greyhounds aren't prone to the same thing, there would be no room for me in the bed!

ECHO! YEP I know the feeling so well and greys do it too, Cas nudges , which means (let me in  I am cold too ) when Derek leaves the bed, and in they come with Mom. So greys are prone to it too. Two peas in a pod my two, grey and whippet. LOL Nora
