My Cousin's Cairo

My cousin (who lives in Spain) sent me these photos of newly named 'Cairo' who was running from the guns in the hills - they have had him at the vets and now he is home living with them and I just wanted to share the pics with folk here on the forum.

This is Cairo (the Pharoah) - I think the name they chose too is great

JUST LOOK AT THESE EARS!!!!!

He's gorgeous and the name really suits him

Your picture made me do a google search on Pharaoh Hounds and I have just read that they can blush - they're ears, cheeks and nose turn a red or pink if they are blushing

Fabulously handsome. Are pharaoh dogs the ones that don't bark, or is that the Ibizan hound?

Basenji's are the dogs that don't bark. Don't know if any others don't tho.

He's absolutely magnificent! Is he as easy as a grey to look after?

Cairo is so beautiful, Siouxsie! Well done to your sister for rescuing him from the guns in the Spanish hills. Thank goodness she was there for him and I'm sure he'll be a wonderful pet for her.
