Favourite Bits?
Permalink Closed

Anyone else got favourite bits of their dogs?

I particularly like their paws - they smell gorgeous !!  and the soft dent just above the top pad is lovely to stroke.

Individually...........

Daisy's ears are like warm satin.

Dave's got little soft bits just in front of the top of his back legs and before you get to his ribs - it's a bit close to his privates so I have to be careful on this one !!

Awwwwww

Folks think I'm weird for liking the smell of dogs paws...I'm glad it's not just me. I also like the smell of the top of their heads!

I think you two are getting confused with babies I like Teds tail and his shiny coat and I like Murphys eyebrows. Don't have a favourite bit of Sassy yet but I quite like her white markings on her tail and paws.

Neo has the softest, silkiest ears just like Daisy!!

When he snuggles up on the couch with me i can sit and rub them for hours....it's just as well he likes it really. As soon as i stop the paw comes up and he nudges me for more..

Not really - I love every bit of em - from their noses to the tips of their tails.  Know what you mean about the ears though!

phew thought it was just me that had a favourite bit.     I was at one of the Edinburgh coffee mornings with Dave (GAL re-homing co-ordinator not Dave the dog ) when I asked him if he had a favourite bit on his dogs as mine was the soft bit at the top of Sunnys neck, (just where her head stops and neck starts, it is so soft.)  Dave looked at me as though i was mad

As for the smell of paws. My kids always say the dogs have "sweaty popcorn feet" And they do indeed smell of damp popcorn

As for Zoe I love her four white feet and the white tip on her tail. When its dark you can always see her little white feet trotting along.

My mum used to say that the dogs' feet smelled like tinned peaches! Our hounds have very rough pads as they run so much, which deters me from sniffing them now. Used to, when Bonnie was little.

I love: their ears and tummies. Bonnie has a furry tummy, Piper's is completely naked and smooth. Both lovely.

I love: the pointiness of Piper's face; the way you can hold it in one hand while kissing the top of her head!

Bonnie, however, has the bestest ears and tail ever - her tail curls up like a scorpion's (guess her star sign...) and frequently can be seen on top of the dining table while she's underneath it. Her ears are independently mobile; we call them Semaphore ears. She was worth having for her tail and ears alone, but the bits between are all loved as well.

I love Chads whiskers, they all puff out when he is happy and relaxed (cute). He also has the most amazing eyes they really stand out against his pale colouring. I have to agree though with you all about 1) his naked belly - perfect for blowing rasberry's on 2) his ears there is a lovely soft flap about half way between his head and the tip of his ear, it is just perfect to rub so so delicate and soft! I love every bit of him he is just so handsome (but he knows it) far better behaved than a good looking man though!

Em xx

I've got a foot fetish too! :)  I love their tootsies.

I love Taylor's belly - I call her jelly belly and smack it and then kiss it (I'm really not a weirdo!).

I love Kiki's velvet-like ears and his neck when he buries his face for scratchies.

I love Raven's little wiggly bum when she's so excited and running around with a stuffie.

And I love the beautiful blue eyes of my cat.

I love Vernon's eyes as they look like he's got eyeliner on. I love the feel of both Vernon and Ziggys ears and the top of their head where they get kisses smells lovely.
