PASTE TABLES (or similar).....Our 34th GALa **** up so far is that our order for tables for all our stalls and displays at the GALa has fallen through - a double booking and I'm afraid we got bumped.


If you have anything like this and can bring it along to the GALa for 10am on Sunday it would be SO much appreciated. If you can't make it at that time but have a table we can borrow I can make arrangements for it to be picked up in the next few days.


Thanks in advance, just email or call me david@gal.org.uk or 0870 888 7277...if we can't get enough tables we'll just have to have some sort of big hippie fest with everyone sitting on the grass!

Hopefully Graeme and I and our three will be able to make it.  If we can, we have a paste table and will bring it along.

Have you tried your local church/community hall - the ones that do coffee mornings etc. When I was younger we used to borrow ones from the local church hall. They charged something like 50p each for the day. Not sure if our local one does this but I will ask. If everyone can ask I bet we can find one that does this.

Sorry Dave, distance involved is just too great to bring mine and i know it wouldn't be worth sending someone all this way just for one table...Hippy fest sounds good to me!!

Jenni's mother is a Minister (in Motherwell). I'll give her a bell later this evening and see if she can help. If she can spare some tables, they'd have to be collected before the 11o'clock service.

Folks, just to say a big thanks to everyone who's contacted me today offering tables, if you've offered to bring one then please still bring it as I've included them all in the final numbers!!


Special thanks to Jenni's mum who's lending us 6 which means we just have enough now!.
