Hi Folks


 


Just to let you know that we had to have Magique our cat PTS this morning. Magique was used to cat test dogs in East Lothian area for GAL. He was an amazing cat but sadly developed heart probs. He was 12 years old & we loved him to bits!


Sorry i`ve not been on the forum for a while - hope everyones had a fantastic summer and that all your dogs are doing just great!

Hi, Sha - I'm very sorry to hear about Magique. He did a great service to GAL by testing all those dogs. I hope you're doing okay.

      So sorry to hear about Magique, he sounds like he was a wonderful cat and he did great service for GAL. I am sure he will be missed not just by you for his courage in testing all those dogs.

So sorry to hear about Magique.  My thoughts are with you. Cats are very special and have their very own unique personality. They worm their way into your hearts in a very different way than dogs do.


I have 4, however one of my cats (Baby) is unwell at the moment. She has a tumour growing at the side of her heart but it doesn't appear to be fast growing ,so every 6 weeks or so she has a steroid injection. To look at her you wouldn't know anything was wrong, she's still running around like a kitten even though she's not long turned 11. I hope i have the strength, like you did, to do the right thing when the time comes.
