I agree they are both lovely I really like Harry but Neo is far too lazy to go on long walks so an energetic dog would never be an option for me unless i move to a house with a garden. They both sound like lots of fun though, hope they both get fantastic homes soon

Orca is lovely aint she, can't see me having her for too much longer!! Harry was adopted with his brother when they were both about 10 weeks old, now that both boys have grown up they are a bit of a menace together, alone they are both great, together they fight real rough, usually ends in blood on both dogs, thats the reason why the family are very reluctantly surrendering Harry to us...
While we're on about the recent web updates, that 'long term dogs' page is looking a bit less crowded now..
Come on Dave, please spill the beans whats happened to the missing long term dogs? Have all my fingers and toes crossed that its good news.
Sharon, Harry looks lovely, I love all the Black and whites too. I'm very smitten with Maverick Not helped by him leaning on me every time I meet him Although he was a little to interested in Sunny the last time they met and as my Steve pointed out he really shouldn't be doing that to his Auntie

both Tara's have gone from the long termers page - lurcher Tara is being kept by her owner, he's got through a dificult time in his life and has decided to keep her, Greyhound Tara goes to her new home this Sunday!..
So pleased for the Tara s. It's great news that lurcher Tara's owner now feels he can keep her and fantastic news for grey Tara. I dearly wished I could have had her but the timing just wasn't right with the house move. I hope they will both be very happy
that is fantastic news that Tara can now stay with her owner And i'm thrilled a home has been found for Grey Tara, she sounds a fantastic lady with lots more years of love to give and receive
Has everyone seen the new boy on the website, Sisko, he is just gorgeous
Someone please tell me quickly that 3 dogs are really far too much bother.....coa i am just Soooooooo tempted...
He's lovely aint he? It's really breaking my heart seeing Sisko back up for adoption again, to bore you all with the story again GAL took in a pregnant bitch just over 4 years ago, her name was Star and she gave birth to 12 gorgeous pups on my kitchen floor, 10 of which survived and were rehomed by us, Sisko was the runt of the litter and we had to bottle feed him for the first 7 weeks of his life, he pulled through cos he was such a wee fighter. The lady that adopted Sisko now has ill health and can't look after him anymore hence him being back up for adoption. She called me last friday (the 13th) to tell me abut her situation, that was Sisko's 4th brithday, it's such a sad story. He was homed to the family down in newcastle so I've not seen him since I dropped him off there almost 4 years ago, really looking forward to seeing him again....
Poor soul and poor family. They must be distraught that they can't keep him - he's so handsome. I always feel for the dogs in these situations because they must wonder what has happened - their lives being turned upside down like that! Hope he finds another lovely home soon.
Dave, no wonder you have such a soft spot for this gorgeous boy, having done so much for him you must feel like he is one of your own. It's such a shame he needs to find a new home, if i thought Sally would accept him i would have taken him in a minute I'm sure he will find a special home very quickly
