Hi, Normaly I mention a monthly dog walk on the GAL site but for a little change of pace in October you  are invited to a dog show. The show is for the Riding for the Disabled Charity and is being held at the RDA Centre, West Fenton, North Berwick on the Sunday the 8th from 11am till 4pm.


The woman who runs the show has noticed the increase in hounds as pets and has included a hound class. She has personaly asked if GAL members would like to come along and show off their wonderful hounds and promote their merits to the public, so if you would like a doggie day out why not join me. There will be arts and craft stalls , food and drinks being served and the bonus is it is all INDOORS!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Nora

Will there be a walk this month as well? I was hoping to let Zak have a run with other doggies as he hasnt had a chance to play with any other dogs than Tara.

Sounds like a great day, wish i had transport to join you all. It's great that they have included a hound class though and i'm sure the dogs will do everyone proud

What can I say the Thomson Family dogs did it again, BEST HOUND 1ST Sasha/2nd Cas, BEST RESCUE 3rd Cas , BEST SIX LEGS 1st Juno ,BEST VETERAN 3rd Juno, DOG MOST LIKE ITS OWNER 1st Fly, BEST FANCY DRESS 2nd Fly. Thanks to everyone that came along to todays show we all had a great time and congratulations to Yvonnes friends dog Tina aged 12 who got 1st place in the BEST VETERANS. Nora

I love it when the veterans win, i always stick my old Toby in for these classes

Well done!  Next year there will be no entries if word gets round that you are going too! 


Should we be starting to worry about the Christmas Fayre & show?  If so, I'll get practicing with Tigger!!!
