Calendar for 2007?
Permalink Closed

Is GAL producing a 2007 calendar?  It just occurred to me that this time last year we were all submitting photos.

Hey, maybe we could do one a la Calendar Girls, with greyhounds covering our rude bits and cellulite instead of fruit?  Or maybe not............

The models used in the calendars were chosen for their ability and their love of animals.

Really??

Notice how they didn't say natural ability... Not my cup of tea but it takes all sorts

It's different!  I agree, slightly disturbing, very bizarre and it makes you wonder what kind of mind comes up with ideas like that!?!

It's not really on the logical train of thought is it?  Greyhounds and safety messages along with scantily clad females?????  More like a health and safety nightmare.

The best one was the ones of the dogs on their own.

Since you put it that way!!!!!!  Perhaps Robbie Williams with greys and you'd have me as a customer!

Hmmmmm - infinitely more interesting!!!!

Well, on one condition - they do away with the awful, cheesy, crap safety messages as per calendar number three on that link!!!

Yes, Jenny the greys do look as though they are just stuck in there, and look as though they are not acquainted with the girls at all!

Think we could do sooo much better ourselves. Sincerity and affection would ooze out of our calendar.

Debbie, don't think we'd be lucky enough to see Robbie Williams with a grey, but he does have a pet 'wolf' called Sid (probably the American crossbreed kind that's mentioned in the other thread about Wolves).

All of the above is most fascinating - but it doesn't answer my question - are we having a GAL calendar 2007?

Hi I think it might be too late for a calendar for this year. It takes a lot of time to get photos and a printer who will do them cheaply.

It may be worth looking into doing the CD case style desktop ones as they are much more cost effective and quicker to get printed (we do the work one this way). I could look into this for you if you want as well as co-ordinate images and do the graphic design work. Only thing I would need to know would be quantity required.

Wouldn't hurt to find out?

Had a look at the calendar.  Should the Greys not have a black rectangle over their eyes to protect their identity??
