Well our second foster dog arrived this weekend. She is a one year old greyhound bitch formarly known as 'Lindsay's Lass' and now renamed to 'Freya' (we had no luck getting her to respond to her given name so decided to change it to mark her change from being a race dog). When we gor her back home she seemed happy to settle herself in on a cosy bed
Despite getting from a few tellings off from our dog Murphy she has settled in well but still seems a little nervouse now and again.
This lovely lady is so chilled and loving. So far she has tolerated our 2 old moggies attacking her (for going near their food), our dog Murphy giving her the occasional growl when she picks up his bestest toy, and the kids.
So far she does not seem to know even the basic commands but walks very well on the lead. She is totaly clean in the house and has a very wet nose when it gets stuck in your ear in the middle of the night
So glad you got your next foster dog so quickly, as I knew how much you were wanting foster dog no.2 - she looks lovely, she looks very similar to my Rainbow.
Please also can you post photos of Murphy - he really is a beautiful boy.
Brindle was never my favourite colour in any dog until i went to the GALA and saw so many gorgeous dogs, now having one is on my wish list if i ever decide to have number 3....
I was much the same Gail and ended up coming home with Tigger at the Christmas Fayre last November. I had intended to go for a black beauty originally but totally fell for Tiggy when I met her. If your wish list contains a brindle then mine definately still contains a black! I will get one in the end.
