I have just got tassles from kitshcollarsand they are beautiful, but I also bought 2 winter coats,a collar and a lead from www.ourpetshop.co.uk and their goods are fantastic. The coats are a great fit and well made and the collar is also handmade embossed leather, beautiful.Very prompt delivery and around mid range for prices.  Nora

Hmmm!

Lovely collars on Kitchcollars.. Think Speedy might need one to cheer him up after his op yesterday.... It will help him to look like the spoilt brat he is going to become - rather than the orphan he was...

There are lots on Ebay too. There is a lady that is a member of this forum (can't remember her name) who makes really smart ones for a good price - postage ain't bad either! Her Ebay shop is called "cozy coats and more"

Gambol Keera and Jamie look so happy! I ordered a collar for Speedy yesterday and got an email within 3 hours to say it would be sent out on Moday. What fantastic customer service!

Now I just need to find a way of stopping Speedy chewing leads.. Anti-dog spray stuff doesn't work and he has destroyed 4 leads in 11 days. They now get hidden in a cupboard as it's becoming an expensive habit.

Hoping to find some suitable tape so I can re-use the fasteners on the ones he has chewed so far... Ebay here I come..

I've bought new collars for our three from kitschcollars.com and the quality is just amazing.  Considering she does this in her spare time, the collars are wonderful and her customer service is second to none.  She answered my emails the same day and I got the collars about 2 days after I ordered them.

I would most definitely recommend her to anyone who wants neat gear for their babies !

To add my tuppence worth!   Obviously the GAL shop HAS to be first choice!   However, I got some slightly different collars (one each of pink, blue and orange, each studded) on Ebay (an outfit called something like Buttz Bags -can't quite remember, it's so long ago!).

However, the main reason for writing is to say that a year ago, again on Ebay (unfortunately I can't remember the details), I got a MAGNETIC greyhound collar for our old girl, Myrtle.   It's great, good quality leather (plain brown, with the magnets in a kind of figure-of-eight bit that's been stitched on) and the magnets are obviously those flexible ones like you get for fridges so aren't too obtrusive.   If you're into magnetic collars for your oldies it's worth a look/hunt!

I can't guarantee that they work, but I DO know that our old dog, Cindy, who couldn't manage a 10 minute walk, started wearing one and the difference was absolutely astounding!   She was back to 1 hour walks with no problems and even managed several "7 milers" (with lots of stops and water.................mainly for me!!!!).

Anyway, just a thought!

Jean

I found this website at the end of last week and ordered Brook a collar for her Christmas.  They don't seem to have matching leads as yet, but state they will follow.  Their communication was very good (I clicked the wrong delivery address and had to email them to amend).  Have not received the collar yet, but was only ordered on Thursday.

Just a little addition re Kitsch Collars...had a problem with Gambols collar so I e-mailed about the problem. I was told to send it back to be fixed, but within the week I had a brand new collar sent back to me! Totally unexpected but what service.
