That's wonderful news. I'm so pleased for Branston, he's a stunner and I'm sure will be a star in Aberdeen for years to come. Well done Karen and Malc. Marie
Karen brought Malc to meet us on Saturday and he's very nice, better still he is smitten by Branston, who isn't,lol,I'm sure they will be happy together and he has been threatened, well told,he must keep us posted and come down for visits and attend the walks from time to time etc,etc,etc,.....but a huge thank you must go to Karen for all her hard work and she's not getting off, she's having another foster, aren't you Karen, lol.?
What a fabulous ending of a chapter (I won't say ending full stop because I want to hear how Branston gets on in the next installment of his life!) Well done for all the work put in to finding him the perfect home and giving him the training to get there and good luck to foster daddy for continuing the process I'm so pleased for the handsome boy
This is amazing. Karen you are an absolute star, you have put in all this time and love to this big handsome boy, and are able to let him go.... I am getting a fizzy nose 'cos of it... Waaah. And am over the moon that he has found a great new Dad, and really hope we never stop hearing about him, or meeting him..
The very best to Branston and his Daddy. He is such a handsome hound and deserves to find his forever home, well done Karen on all your hard work. Nora

Karen - you've done an incredible job with Branston! What brilliant news that he's found a new home with Malc after waiting so long! I'm looking forward to hearing how he gets on.
oh wow I am so so happy to hear that Branston will be going to his forever home very soon. What with him and Eugene it must make everyone involved feel extra happy well done all the Gal people for all their hard work with these wonderful dogs. Oh no I am shedding a tear again
So happy to hear another long stay hound has found his forever home. Well done Malc for taking Branston, and well done to all involved in his care and fostering, great job, great dog and fantastic outcome :)
Hi Folks, Although the garden fence isn't ready yet Karen thought it might be a good idea for Branny to spend a little time with me on his own and naturally I jumped at the idea, so Branny has just been to Aberdeen for his hols for a week.
Of course he was a little confused his first night here, but like the star he is he quickly settled in, enjoying the new walks with all the sniffing opportunities that presents and testing every sofa and bed in the house. He also met lots of new people, making loads of new fans along the way who now are almost as keen as me to see the big guy moving up here. He even managed to find the cheese in the bag of one of the people at my work when I took him in for a wee visit, the chancer, although like the polite boy he is he didn't steal it, just turned on the charm...
It was great to have him here for a whole week on my own, getting the chance for both of us to get to know one another a bit better - man can that boy roach! It also felt very strange coming in from work on Monday to an empty house, just didn't feel right at all.
What a fantastic job Karen has done with Branny, he's such a great dog and getting better all the time around other dogs thanks to her patience and hard work. It was amazing to see how happy he was to see her when she came to see him at the end of the week - I tried not to feel insulted!
Now all I need is for B&Q to get their promised delivery of fence panels and work can begin. Can't wait to have the big guy here! Malc
Sounds like you both had a great time together. I know what you mean about the empty house, its extraordinary how quickly they become part of your home. I'm fortunate to have a daycare that takes Mason on occasional overnights if I have a night out and when he's not there I catch myself glancing at the sofa expecting to see him lying there and getting a twinge when I see it empty. Hope you and Branston are reunited permanently very soon. Marie
