A very interesting article, I would say watch this space. There has been no more further development to the stadium but Mr Wallace seems to be putting up lovely new housing near the site? Nora

Goodness only knows where that £14 million has gone. I have a good look at the site every week when I get the train home from work. There is absolutely NO progress on the stadium. Though, as Nora says, there are a load of new houses being built and they are so close to where the track and stadium will be that I can't imagine how the latter will fit in. The houses will be mere feet away from the site, if it does go ahead. The other side of the proposed site is bounded by a water works treatment thing (at least, that's what it looks like) so iI can't see how it can expand from there.

Long may the delays continue.

Mr Wallace's plans for a supermarket, which he hopes will fund the stadium, are unlikely to get off the ground. East Lothian Council say the land in question is for business use not retail and this position is unlikely to change.
My understanding is that the stand which has been built was thrown up so work on the property on the adjacent field could start.
Planning permission for the properties was reliant on work on the stadium having begun which is why they built the stand.
I will be very surprised if a stadium ever appears in Wallyford, regardless of what Mr Wallace says to "reassure the local community".
His only hope of continuing with the venture is finding partners to come in on it and provide financing.
