Well got the best news an owner could wish for; your dog can be collected any time after 2pm.....TODAY.....pardon, think you might be mistaken this is Mrs Black Sannas owner.the vet was laughing and reassured me she was ready to come home, she is off all medication and is just a case of strenghthening her muscles and stamina and she will be walking in next to no time....she stood today unaided for the 1st time but fell over, she still needs assistance getting toileted and all i can say is that she looks very very drunk when she,s walking but hey thats wat we are here for many a time i,ve had to strip James and put him to bed.....shhhhh hope he doesn,t read this
Anyhows we have her home and i need to do physio 6-7 times a day and use the slings to assist her walking,i,ve arranged with my work that i,m only out the house for 3 hrs max.... so i,ll be able to be here when needed. Badger was all over her and started licking her face as soon as she came through the doors a sight we never thought would happen....power of prayer and determination on Sanna,s part has brought her back.....BLESS..she,s just had a rather large portion of her finest dinner....sardines and tomato...eating well and just took her out for afterwards and a few stumbles and fell over a few times but hey we got there it,s all new to us as well, come the weekend we will be a dab hand at this toilet business.i,m still pinching myself to see if it,s a dream to have her home so soon...
Our 8 year old came out with the cutest remark....he returned home from school and was a big surprise to see her and wen he seen her trying to stand he said Mum she,s just like Bambi wen she was born all clumsy legged and ever so cute..that summed it up for me.Will keep you all posted on her progress hopefully wont be too long before the slings are SLUNG lol..
Sanna sends big LIX and loadsa luvin to her extended family for all the well wishers and prayers

Mel what fantastic news! I could hardly believe what I was reading. Bless the big Badger fella I bet he is over the moon to have his Sanna back. Helen and I are so pleased for you both, hopefully now you both can relax a bit without the added stress of running up to the vet school and back. Just enjoy having your baby home. Prayers indeed are answered.

Wow - can't believe how quickly she has improved - she must be a real fighter! Badger sounds like he adores her and am sure being back home with him and the rest of your family will lift her spririts even more and they'll be running around together before you know it.
Tilly sends hugs and licks to both Sanna and Badger.
