Thanks everyone. I didn't expect so many replies so quickly.
He's currently having his funny-run-around time, probably because his mum is out at her book group. Ironically I've had to save a couple of books from the jaws of Django in the last 20 minutes.
Thanks for all the nice comments about Django. I think everyone thinks their own dog is lovely. I've a few friends who say they see greyhounds as 'ugly dogs' and I just can't see it myself. Thankfully I have many more friends that see them as the refined, elegant creatures that they are.
Django looks very happy and hansom on "his" bed with "his" bag... I am of course, biased but I think Greys are very sleek, elegant beasties.. Someone called Speedy a stick insect the other day though We were not impressed!
I've had that too actually and, like Claire n Speedy, was not impressed! Specially seeing as the girl who made the comment was no oil painting herself (may actually have mentioned something along those lines "reasonably" quietly).
Welcome to the forum! Hope to hear more about you and the gorgeous Django. Is he named after the jazz guitarist?
Christine
Hi Christine,
That's well spotted - I thought the guitar case may be a clue.
It wasn't intentional actually, the name came up and we thought it sounded good. He was originally called 'Bogart' and there was something about the name that didn't quite feel right. Django feels much more apt and it's now the name that he recognises as his own.
