It was dry but incredibly windy. Steve and I were nearly blown away on Jenners' corner. Luckily we were tied to Timmy, Roscoe and Jess who anchored us down.
For those of us that stayed the full 3 hours, it did get very wet towards the end. The rain and the wind are not a nice combination . All the dogs were so well behaved considering there were so many strangers coming up to say hello

It would have been good if more volunteers had been available to help at the can collection this year as we would have been able to cover shifts and stayed longer but understandablydue to other commitments this didn't happen - but hey there always next year
Wow! £825 is a fantastic amount! Really wish we could have been there but, as Debbie mentioned, we were away. How about doing one in the new year when everyone's spending their xmas money in the sales (and getting refunds on unwanted presents?)........ Sure Tilly would be up for a bit of patting.
I think it was Landess's Sunny with her play bow that helped to fill our coffers. Mind you Sophie curled herself into a little ball, "spoke" to no-one and looked very miserable and abandoned. As she had an "I need a home" coat on everyone felt very sorry for her. Did not tell everyone that in fact she was just in a "huff" because she had to lay down on the pavement and not her very OWN leather couch at home!!!!
