My new boy

Thought you all might like to see some pics of my new boy. His name is Chess and he is a lovely 4 year old male with the most gorgeous ears that unfortunately can't really be seen in the photo's, one is white with black spots and the other is black with white ones and i love his half white/ half black tail. He is quite a big boy and weighs about 80lb and he is really clumsy.


He is not a GAL dog but i think Dave has forgiven me He seems to be settling in quite well and the other two have grumbled a bit but he just ignores them and tries to cuddle up to them anyway. He has been clean in the house and has only had one accident since he arrived on Sunday, loves his food but loves attention even more. He has to be the biggest cuddle monster i have ever met, he just loves everyone


He needs some work on lead training as he managed to trip me up onto my bum on day one but he has made great progress in just two days . I'm not totally sure about his reaction to dogs yet but he is very bouncy and howls when he sees them so will have to socialise him a bit, but he is fantastic with the kids and any visitors and really just takes everything in his stride.


Hope you all agree that he is a gorgeous boy.

Gail, he looks absolutely stunning, what a fantastic colour !!!!!  I just love his name too, so appropriate for his colouring.

What a gorgeous boy !     He reminds me so much of Jack, all white with a few splodges!  He looks so happy and relaxed to have a great home!

Love the name, really suits him.  See what you mean about the ears - they're lovely - just want to stroke them.

Gail...he's absolutely gorgeous. I thought Mason's black and white markings were unusual but his are even more so...and he's even bigger than my big lad!
