What better way to end 2006 is with a walk at Holyrood Park with your best friend(s). Come and join us on Hogmanay and enjoy the company of other likeminded hound owners/dog lovers.
WHERE? Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, meet in the St Margarets Loch Car Park (the Meadowbank end of the park!)
A Huge Thank You to all you brave people and hounds who ventured out for the walk today. I was delighted with the turnout today (over 20 beautiful dogs) especially as there was a mix up with the advert this month ( I am hoping that the newspapers eventually manage to get our ads right for 2007 )
Took some photos before the heavens opened up.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and Thank You to all who have attended the EDINBURGH Walks in 2006, it has been a success, we are definitely making people more aware as well as getting more dogs rehomed over here in the East.
Looking forward to seeing you all next year.
p.s. Took some photos before the heavens opened up, so I will post them later.
We made it along to the walk yesterday, and even though it was pouring rain, freezing and howling winds we really enjoyed the walk. Just goes to show no matter the weather add a group of beautiful hounds and like minded owners and you can't fail to have an enjoyable walk even if your jeans are stuck to your legs, your trainers are squelching and your hair resembles Inspector Gadget . (so glad Siouxsie didn't have her camera at that point!!!!)
It was great to catch up with everyone. It was really nice to see Jackie looking so well and much loved in his new home.
See you all next month
Landess, Sunny and Zoe.

Yeah, I've always had a real soft spot for him - he has such stunning markings. He's a very striking dog. I would have taken him myself in a second if I thought I'd have got away with it.
Best thing is he's got a loving home and he looks extremely contented. I was delighted when I got the chance to have a quick chat to him outside Langside at the end of November. From the stories, they certainly have put in a lot of work with him and it's paying off really well.
