Thanks for asking Karen, just noticed your post as its been a fairly hectic week!!

Things still much the same for my big lad but he is back at the vet today at 4pm so will see what they say today. He has been on steroids for the last week and is still wearing the syringe tube for protection but the slightest bump is still making it bleed again. i have noticed it is looking a bit drier in the last few days and im hoping that might be the start of it healing so fingers crossed with todays appointment.

Will update you later, thanks for your concern. x

Sounds positive.  Will keep my fingers crossed and I'm quite sure (if I can wake them up) the dogs will keep everything crossed too.

Hope the trip to the vet confirmed what you thought that Neo's tail is healing now.

Hugs to your beautiful boy

YIPPEE!! Looks like there might finally be some light at the end of the tunnel......or at least at the end of the tail. LOL

The vet agrees that it does look lke he might be on the mend and is happy enough not to see him again unless it opens up or shows sign of infection. Still using the tube to give him a bit of protection at times when i know he is going to get overly excited, like walks and dinner time, but i have not had it on since the appointment yesterday and it's still looking fine.

Hopefully the tale of the tail is now over thanks for everyone's kind wishes, Neo sends big hugs to you all. x

So pleased to hear that Neo's tail is healing well - you must be so relieved!  Agree with Nora you must get a pic of all three of your dogs for your avatar....
