A very old girl called Clootie went to sleep today.  She was a 15 year old labrador. She belonged to the parents of a friend of mine.  They had had her since she was 6 weeks old. As you can imagine they are all devastated.

I'm really sorry to hear that.  She must have had a fabulous life and that is something to be thankful for.  Our loving thoughts and prayers will be on Clootie's family x

So sorry to hear about Clootie! Thinking of her owners and how lost they must feel without her. But she had a wonderful long life with them and they'll have lots of happy memories of her.

Our thoughts are with Clootie's family at this very sad time.  She reached a very old age and I'm sure that's down to the loving family she had.

Knowing how this feels my heart goes out to Clootie's family. Be at peace with the thought that she had a good long life and is now at Rainbow Bridge. Nora

Sorry to hear about Clootie, it must be very hard on her family as they have had her so very long.A friend of mines parents had a sheep dog for nearly 20 years, when he was put to sleep my friend had known no life without him. I know they thought they would never get over their loss yet a while later they got two puppies and fell in love all over again. I guess what I am trying to say is for the family to grieve for as long as they need to. However, Clooties memory will live on forever and hopefully such loving folks may give another furry friend a better future one day not too far away. My love goes to them XX
