Just to say Lidl have raised dog feeders for a tenner this week. They are a lot cheaper than pets at home and just as good.

Gus pointed out to me, last night, that Lidl had the kind of dog bed I've been swithering about buying for ages.  They have them for £5.  Only 2 days ago I ordered one off the internet for £30 and the delivery is £5!  Haven't looked at Lidl's stuff but I am just consoling myself that the Lidl bed would be too small as it has a cat in it in the advert.

Anyway, as you would no doubt agree, the Princess is well worth £30!

Joyce i was in Lidl's today and the bed i saw would definately have been too small so just as well with the one you have ordered. picked up a few more toys though that they seem to like.

I sent Graeme into Lidl's in Greenock today to see if there were any feeders left and - surprise, shock, horror - there weren't!

He came home and announced that there had been lots of other things that he hadn't seen before, I expect there were toys too, but he didn't buy anything!

re Lidl Greenock,

Did you know there's a new one in Port Glasgow as well (not too much further up the road)?   Haven't been to it yet, but pass it on Thursdays on my way back down to the main road from Quarriers, Bridge of Weir (on my way back to the Dunoon ferry or Erskine Bridge and home by road, depending on how knackered I am!!!).   Turn as if you were going up the hill to Kilmacolm at the Newark Castle roundabout and it's just in on the right (you might have to go round the 2nd roundabout to get in, I'm not sure).   Might be worth a try!

Hi Jean

Yes, had heard about it but am being a bit scatter brained at present and keep forgetting about it.  Graeme was rushing to get home from work (Wemyss Bay) so didn't have much time to shop before getting the Dunoon ferry.  Will need to drop into that one sometime in the near future.

Thanks for reminding me.

Hello all!

My sister works for Lidl.  She's in head office so if you have any complaints I'll pass them on (hee hee).  Equally so I'll put in some requests for Greyhound stuff

I treated Chloe to a raised feeder - best quality I've seen.  Everything was going so well until she got the snood of her GAL leopard print coat stuck on it somehow.  Lots of squealing and a wet greyhound and kitchen floor ensued.  It's amazing how inanimate object keep attacking her
